Chrysler Group LLC has detailed a five-year plan with ideas for their upcoming vehicles and refinements to existing models. The Chrysler brand has always had its sights set on the future. That’s true now and probably always will be. In a news conference in Auburn Hills, the Chrysler Company recently revealed their baseline plans for the future. The first major piece of information was that there will be a successor to the 2014 Chrysler 300. The premium flagship sedan has been so successful at your Chrysler dealer serving Piqua.
The 2015 Chrysler 200 will take over the reins for the flagship sedan duties, but it will be accompanied by new versions of the Chrysler Town & Country as well as the Chrysler 300. By 2016, Chrysler automakers hope to refine their premiere minivan to include a plug-in hybrid version. They’ll also be adding an entirely new compact vehicle called the Chrysler 100, but it’s currently unclear what the specs and details of this vehicle will be.
By 2017, the Chrysler Company has plans to release a fully-equipped crossover SUV to get a chance to compete in one of the largest vehicle segments in the US. This vehicle will also showcase plug-in hybrid technology. Finally, the Chrysler brand hopes to have a fully realized new version of the Chrysler 300 by 2018, which will lead their next generation of vehicles.
